CNOS // Calcium Nitrate
$34.99 – $139.99
DEPTH CNOS is a nitrogen source that also delivers calcium, derived from Calcium Nitrate.
- DEPTH CNOS provides immediately available calcium and nitrogen in the nitrate form.
- DEPTH CNOS is formulated to directly effect cell wall formation within the plant, hardening it off, especially with reduced water availability.
- DEPTH CNOS works well as a standalone foliar feeding or root drench.
- Fast acting source of nitrate nitrogen.
- Optimization of plant growth and development
- Can help prevent blossom end rot
- Ideal for acidic soils and root zone media.
Hydroponic, DWC, and Coco Grows – Treat water with 1mL/Gallon
Container Grows – Soil Drench: add 3mL/Gallon and drench the root system of the plant.
Do not mix with products containing humic acid or phosphorus as nutrient lockout and precipitation can occur.
Description
DEPTH CNOS is a nitrogen source that also delivers calcium. Once in soil solution, the nitrate can be taken up as a negative ion but the plant will release a hydroxide ion, balancing the calcium ion to calcium hydroxide which has a buffering effect in acidic soil.
DEPTH CNOS provides immediately available calcium and nitrogen in the nitrate form resulting in a quick green up.
DEPTH CNOS can directly effect cell wall formation within the plant, hardening it off, especially with reduced water availability.
DEPTH CNOS works well as a standalone foliar feeding or root drench.
Benefits of Calcium Nitrate:
Through the reduction of soil acidity, CNOS can help facilitate the availability of other nutrients, including calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
In a single application, calcium nitrate delivers both calcium and nitrogen. This combination will encourage healthy plant development and growth.
Specifically, calcium can help maintain the health and development of leaves, buds, and even fruits. Plants deficient in calcium will have slowed growth, yellow leaves, and thin foliage or canopy coverage. CNOS is a proven performer in tomatoes, apples, citrus, hemp, spinach, turfgrass, and other target crops. Roses have been shown to have increased stem strength and larger flowers. For grapes grown in acidic soil, CNOS has a been a winner year after year in producing more consistent grapes.
Do not mix with products containing phosphorus or humic acid. Combining CNOS with either of these products can potentially cause a precipitate to form which will inhibit the availability of one or more of the ingredients. Always conduct a jar test to confirm the safety of mixing this product with others.
